Halloween is very quiet in SCV, but that brings up some questions to think about.

Have you ever told your grandchildren about your Halloweens? Did you play tricks on people? What costumes did you wear and who made them? Who went with you?

How about your children’s Halloweens? Did you pass out candy, apples or other treats? Do they remember asking for pennies for UNICEF? Did you make their costumes? What did they go as?

How seldom we talk about the ordinary events of our own earlier life. Then we, as genealogists today, wish we had asked some of these questions of our grandparents. Don’t forget to share your past with your family!
