The Green Valley Genealogical Society Annual Seminar is Saturday the 19th of February. It’s at the Valley Elks Lodge, 2951 S. Camino Mercado, Green Valley (Southwest of Desert Hills GVR Recreation Center). Check-in 8:15 AM to 9 AM with coffee. GVGS Members $37.50; Non-members $42.50 – includes a syllabus, buffet lunch, and break snacks.
Featured Speaker: Julie Miller, C.G. is a professional genealogy researcher, lecturer, and writer. She is the 2010 Conference Chair of the National Genealogical Society (NGS) and serves on the Board of Directors of NGS and the International Society of Family Writers and Editors. Julie is past president of the Colorado Genealogical Society and the Colorado Chapter of the Association of Professional Genealogists. She has been a volunteer at the National Archives-Rocky Mountain Region for over 14 years. Julie is an award-winning genealogy columnist for the Bloomfield Enterprise.
