There have been questions about how to purchase the 2012 version of Family Tree Maker (FTM), so here are some details.

The main page with information is this Ancestry Store page. Note that the page lists two FTM 2012 products. One is called “Family Tree Maker 2012 Complete.” This includes not only the software but also a book and a DVD. The basic “pre-sale” price for this is $63.99. The product with just the software is called “Family Tree Maker 2012.” The pre-sale price for this is $31.99. But there is also an upgrade available, for customers who already own an earlier version of FTM. This is called “Family Tree Maker 2012 Upgrade” and its presale price is only $23.99. (Actually there’s yet another product: FTM 2012 is available for the Mac.) Note also that these prices do not include shipping or sales tax.
