The meeting was called to order by President Norma Schellberg at 1 PM.

PRESIDENT’S REPORT: Norma welcomed 37 members and 2 guests. Our next general meeting is October 11th, 2011.

MINUTES: The Minutes from the April 2011 meeting were accepted as posted on the Club’s website.

TREASURER’S REPORT: The April report was posted on the website. It has since been revised and corrected there. Current balance is $5,127.20. The report was filed for audit.

COMMITTEE REPORTS:

1. Hospitality – Bonnie McGregor reported we have volunteers for October but still need more for later in the year.
2. FTM SIG –Karen Haider – Meets in the Havasu Room, Vistoso Center, on May 12th at 9:30 AM.
3. Ireland SIG – Joan Eddy – Meets in the Aztec Room, Desert Oasis, on May 24th at 2 PM.
4. Membership – Russ Krecklow reported we have 152 members.

OLD BUSINESS: None.

NEW BUSINESS:

1. Evelyn Thomson led the installation ceremony for new officers. The new officers are: Mike Carroll, President; Darwin Thornton, Vice President; Kathy Davidson, Secretary; Ken Jordan, Treasurer; and Karen Hasselbach, Member at Large.

The meeting was adjourned by President Norma Schellberg at 1:20 PM.
