• January 14: Pima County Genealogical Society is having a special presentation by Matt Kaplan on using DNA in genealogical research. He’ll be at UMC Saturday afternoon.
• January 19th: Green Valley Genealogical Society presents Edie Sly on “Collateral and Allied Families.”
• January 20th & 21st: Family History Expo in Mesa. Speakers include for example Legacy’s Geoff Rasmussen and Leland K. Meitzler of GenealogyBlog.com.
• January 28th: Pinal County Genealogists’ annual workshop in Casa Grande. Nobody famous here, but 20 or so different talks.
