Ken Jordan, our current Treasurer, will be finishing his first year on June 30th. He has other priorities that will prevent him from serving a second year. So your genealogy club needs your help.

The Treasurer attends Board Meetings and General Meetings, from October through May, if at all possible. He collects dues at the General Meeting and deposits them in our bank account. He also writes checks to reimburse members for club expenses, and prepares a short monthly statement which is posted on our website. Snowbirds qualify, since there are no summer responsibilities. Your first meeting would be in October.

This position is vital to our club’s existence, since we can’t function without collecting dues and paying bills. Please consider volunteering for one year. If you feel you can, let me know at 818-0556 or mcarroll@pobox.com. Thanks.
