The Library Committee has just purchased four new booklets offered by Genealogical Publishing. These are part of the publisher’s “Genealogy at a Glance” series. The four are:

• Revolutionary War Genealogy Research, by Craig R. Scott;
• Immigration Research, by Sharon DeBartolo Carmack;
• German Genealogy Research, by Ernest Thode;
• Irish Genealogy Research, by Brian Mitchell.

Each of these is a four-page overview by an expert of key events and resources.

For now, these booklets may be found in a yellow folder on the table in the Havasu Room (genealogy library). They are non-circulating so more members have a chance to look at them. They may be allowed to circulate at a later date.

The Library Committee hopes these will help those finishing the Beginners Class to continue their research. We also hope they’ll be useful to members of the Irish, German, and Colonial Virginia Special Interest Groups.
