SaddleBrooke Genealogy: Tomorrow March 1

The SaddleBrooke Genealogy Club meets tomorrow March 1st at 1 PM in the Coyote Room of the SaddleBrooke Clubhouse. Here’s their meeting announcement:

“Immigration and Passenger Lists Research” by Richard McQuate. If the average year of immigration for your immigrant ancestors was 1850, you have approximately 16 ancestors to trace back to foreign countries. If the average immigration year was 1800, this number increases to 64. Have you traced all of them back to the old country? If not, show up for our March meeting and we will attempt to put you on the right track.”

“The formal presentation on immigration and passenger lists will be relatively brief in order to allow time for questions and answers on our main topic as well as the following topics in which members have shown an interest:

  • Using DNA test results to trace your relatives and ancestors;
  • Release of the 1940 census on April 2nd;
  • Volunteering for FamilySearch indexing.”
