Gordon R. Gray is our guest speaker at this Tuesday’s genealogy club meeting (1 PM, Navajo Room, Social Hall). Gordon is a former president of the International Society of British Genealogy and Family History, and Board member of the Association of Professional Genealogists. His topic is “British Isles – Tips and Tools for Online Research.”
Sue Huffer will also give a short presentation on the 1940 U.S. Federal Census, which will be released on April 2nd. More information is available at this National Archives web page. And Darwin will talk about how you can help index the census.
Keep cool this summer: wear your white genealogy club polo shirt. Click here for an order form, or pick one up at the meeting, or call Darwin (638-7024).
And if you’ve been forgetting your checkbook and haven’t paid your dues yet, please remember it this time and give Ken a little something ($15/person, $25/household).
