Sharon’s talk today on Mexican War and Civil War records was informative and very entertaining. She has given us an additional document for use by club members: Military Records 1840 – 1890. This is not the same as the handout distributed at the meeting. It has four pages of timelines for the Civil War and Military Pension Acts, a nine-page bibliography, and three pages of links to websites. The website links are clickable.
