Irish Genealogy Seminar, Phoenix, September 8th

There will be a day-long seminar on Irish genealogy at the Irish Cultural Center in Phoenix on Saturday September 8th.

The speaker is Eileen M. Ó Dúill, Certified Genealogist and Member of the Association of Professional Genealogists in Ireland. The topics of her four one-hour talks are:

    • Introduction to Irish Genealogy: where do I start?
    • Dublin, 30 June 1922: did everything blow up?
    • Mrs. Fancy Tart is Coming to Tea: making sense of family stories.
    • Come to Ireland to Find Your Irish Ancestors.

The day’s program also includes tours of the new McClelland Irish Library, lunch, and a question-and-answer session. Registration is $30 for Cultural Center members and $40 for non-members. September 5th is the deadline, but only 100 reservations will be accepted, so sign up now if you’d like to go.
