Tucson OASIS: Genealogy and other classes start in September

OASIS is a nationwide organization offering programs of continued learning for those over 50. We’re fortunate to have our own office, Tucson OASIS.

Pima County Genealogy Society is offering classes through Tucson OASIS again this fall. Barbara Salyer, Amy Urman, and others will speak. This post at the PCGS website has additional details.

Classes are offered at various locations around Tucson. Fairwinds Desert Point on La Reserve Drive off Oracle, Mountain View Retirement Community near Magee and La Cañada, and the Junior League near River and Campbell are not far from us.

If you’d like a look at the fall classes, you can search their database or page through the Fall Catalog. Registration opens August 27th. Some, like the talk by former U of A President Peter Likins, are sure to fill up quickly, so don’t wait until you’re back in town to sign up.
