Dave Nelson

SCVGS member David Dennis Nelson passed away recently here in Tucson at the age of 74. His wife Lynne is also a club member.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gordon Nelson, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Lynne, his four children, Steven (Jessica) Nelson, Laura Lacy, Andrew (Naomi) Nelson, Michael (Eri) Nelson, step children Wendy (Paul) Cossentine and Brian Nelson, and eleven grandchildren.

Dave graduated from Patrick Henry High School, Northwestern Electronics School, and Western Michigan University. He served in the Air Force and worked on the NORAD National Air Defense SAGE System.

A memorial service will be held at Hillside Church, 4300 West 98th Street, Bloomington, MN on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 11:00 AM with interment at Grand View Cemetery in Hopkins, MN. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials going to CaringBridge or the American Cancer Society.
