Tuesday: Sherri Hessick on Ancestry.com

Sherri Hessick is our guest speaker for Tuesday’s regular monthly meeting at 1 P.M. in the Navajo Room in the Social Hall. Sherri is on the Steering Committee of the Pima County Genealogy Society, where she coordinates Events, FamilySearch Indexing, and OASIS classes. She also volunteers at the Langley Family History Center and heads their Legacy Users Group.

Sherri’s topic is “How to get the most out of Ancestry.com”. We all have access to Ancestry on the club computers. But with 29,000 databases, it can be hard to find your way around. — You’ve used Ancestry, but do you know about its Card Catalog? — Sherri will give us tips and tricks.

Dues for the 2013 calendar year are due this month. ($15/person, $25/couple.) Remember to pay Shirley at the January meeting, or risk the wrath of our Membership Coordinator Russ Krecklow. You may also leave dues in Shirley’s Treasurer drawer in the club rooms.
