There are two October genealogical events you might want to register for:

Lisa Louis Cooke has been invited to Tucson by the Pima County Genealogy Society. She’ll offer seminars at an east side Tucson location on Friday and Saturday October 3rd and 4th. (Our first club meeting is not until the 14th.) For details, see the seminar flyer and the registration form. Registration closes September 20th, and you can’t pay at the door.

Family History Conference in Tempe: Sponsored by the Mesa FamilySearch Library, this annual conference will be held Saturday October 25th on the ASU campus. There will be five sessions with about ten talks per session so there’s lots to choose from. Admission is free, but registration is limited to 720 and 400 have already registered.
