Nationally known speaker and author Lisa Louise Cooke will offer a workshop and seminar in Tucson on Friday and Saturday October 3rd and 4th. Pima County Genealogy Society is hosting the event at the clubhouse of Far Horizons RV Resort on Pantano near Speedway.
Ms. Cooke’s Friday afternoon topics will be old maps and Google Earth. On Saturday she’ll discuss cold cases, newspapers, Evernote, and Google surname searching. Details are available in the seminar flyer and in these enthusiastic comments (“Lisa is an excellent speaker with so much energy”) by someone who attended a similar presentation just last month.
