I notice that there are many of you trying to begin your genealogy research by joining the Beginners Class, but alas, there are also many who will not make it into the class because of size restrictions. To those left out I want to alert you to the Tucson Family History Library’s conference coming up on Saturday, January 31st. There are several class offerings for the beginner, starting at the 8:30AM time slot with “Beginner 101 – Starting from Scratch”. There are four more, hour long classes directed to the beginner genealogist. The conference ends about 3:10PM. Click on this link to get more info:

The conference will be held at the LDS Church, 6901 E. Kenyon (near Broadway & Kolb). Pack a lunch plus some snacks and water are available throughout the day. There is no charge for this event.
We’ll announce ride sharing at next Tuesday’s meeting.
