Lynne Brooke has borrowed a couple of hard-to-come-by books. They’re good references for Connecticut during the Revolutionary period. They are:
- Connecticut Town Meeting Records During the Revolutionary Period, Vol 2, New Fairfield-Woodstock, by Jolene Roberts Mullen, 2011.
- Record of Service of Connecticut Men in the War of the Revolution, War of 1812, Mexican War, edited by Henry Johnston, 1889.
Lynne will bring these to the DAR SIG meeting this coming Tuesday afternoon the 27th at 1 or 1:30 in the club library. Anyone with Connecticut research during this time period is welcome to look at them, or copy pages. — They are not being added to our club’s collection. Lynne obtained them via interlibrary loan from Pima County, and they have to be returned soon.
(I added links to Amazon pages for more info, but the editions shown there may not be exactly the same as what Lynne has.)
