Karen and I will again offer a FindMyPast workshop this Saturday morning the 11th at 9:15 in the club library. (It’s at 9:15, not 9 o’clock.) FindMyPast is an online database like Ancestry or FamilySearch. Its main emphasis is England, Scotland, and Wales.
The workshop is for beginners or for anyone unfamiliar with FindMyPast. We’ll have an overview together in the library for 45 minutes to an hour, and spend the rest of the time at the computers.
If you’d like to participate, please:
- Click here to go to our room calendar and sign up for one of the eight workshop slots on Saturday;
- Bring an example Saturday of someone you’re looking for, preferably in the British Isles, along with as much information about them as you have available.
We are heading into Tucson’s “high season” with the gem show continuing and the rodeo starting. Many of you have visitors. We may not get enough participants for this Saturday. If not, we’ll let you know we’re canceling, and will reschedule for a less busy day.
Looking forward to seeing you!
