Internet Explorer is currently the default browser on the Windows PCs in our club rooms. I’m considering switching to Google Chrome. The whys and wherefores are too long & geeky to put in a post. If you have an opinion on this topic, would you please comment on this post, or get in touch with me some other way? Thanks!

Some reasons:
1) Microsoft itself has moved away from Internet Explorer. Its new browser for Windows 10 is Edge.
2) Chrome is now the most popular browser.
3) Chrome supports printing to a PDF file. Internet Explorer does not.
4) Members are printing to PDF by using the snipping tool, pasting into Word, and then saving to PDF. This is too complicated.
Nothing nerdy about it. Internet Explorer lost all credibility about 4 years ago. Windows 10 couldn’t even call it by its name…instead its the Edge. DUMP it and move forward.

Absolutely use Chrome. I have not used Internet Explorer for safety reasons for ages.
